How to reach Trento

Trento and Monte Bondone are very close and connected by an easily accessible and scenic road (less than 20 kilometres to Vason, a resort at an altitude of 1650 m) and can be reached by coach and in winter by a skibus service.
There are numerous ways to reach the city or to use it as a starting point for excursions that allow you to discover enchanting places between lakes and vines, castles and peaks of the Dolomites.


By car or coach:

Brenner Motorway (A22 exit Trento South or North), state road 12 of Abetone and Brenner from Verona or Bolzano; state road 47 (highway of the Valsugana) from Venice and state road 45 bis della Gardesana Occidentale from Brescia and Lake Garda.

By train:

from the North the Brenner railway and from Venice the Valsugana railway. The station is very near to Trento’s historical centre (Piazza Duomo can be reached on foot in a few minutes). Two hundred metres from the main train station, you can find the Trento Malè train station, whose trains connect Trento to the Val di Non and the Val di Sole (it is not necessary to leave the main station: just follow platform 1 heading north).

By plane:

the nearest airports are Verona (90 km), Brescia (165 km), Venice (155 km), Treviso (130 km), Milan (250 km), Bergamo (200 km) and Bologna (225 km).

Coach lines:

Trento is linked to all the resorts in the province by an efficient coach service that allows those without a car to reach all the corners of Trentino at ease. There are also lines throughout the week that link Trento with some other European cities (Prague, Vienna, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Ceske Budejovice), whilst, in some periods of the year, the same service runs towards some Italian cities.
The coach station (ph.0039.0461.983627) is in via Pozzo, one hundred metres from the main train station.

Dedicated Buses:

dedicated buses will be available for participants and their companions from Bergamo and Verona to Trento and the other way around. Booking is possible through this link.
